Amazon sets a new standard with its cool Kindle DX model of well-liked Kindle Reader line of e-book Readers. The Amazon Kindle DX, a wireless e-book reading device is much bigger than its forebears. Kindle DX is the 1st Kindle model with an accelerometer, instantly revolving pages between landscape and portrait orientations if the device is turned on its side, unless automated revolution is immobilized by the user.

*Weight: 18.9 ounces.
*Storage: 4GB internal (roughly 3.3GB available for user content)
*Battery lifespan: Read on a single charge for as much as a few days with wireless on. Turn wireless off and read for as much as 2 weeks. Battery life-span will alter based on wireless use, e.g. shopping the Kindle Store and downloading content. In low coverage areas or in 1xRTT only coverage, wireless use will consume battery power quicker.
*Connectivity: EVDO modem with fallback to 1xRTT; employs Amazon Whispernet to provide U.S wireless coverage thru Sprint's 3G fast information network (check wireless coverage).
*USB Port: USB 2.0 (micro-USB connector)
